Happy New Year’s lovelies! To God be ALL the Glory for another amazing year down; and another amazing year ahead. It’s 2017 and as it has approached my mind wondered on  something that some may not be familiar with. A”VISION BOARDS”! Visions are everything when you give it the extra connotation of putting it in visual picture form. Merriam Webster dictionary states that the definition of “Interpretation” is the act or result of explanation; or a teaching technique that combines factual with stimulating explanatory information. Furthermore in a spoken word from God to Habakkuk in 2:2-3 the Lord reminded Habakkuk to “Record the vision and inscribe it on tablets, that the one who reads it may run. For the vision is yet for the appointed time; It hastens toward the goal and it will not fall. For it will certainly come, it will not delay.

images-23Visions is something seen in a dream or trance; a supernatural appearance that conveys a revelation.  Interpreting your inner most dreams and desires through a vision board not only allows you to put your goals into perspective for change but also allows you to give God a view of what you desire while being faithful in him he fulfills all the needs of our flesh according to his promise. The key is to remain rooted in him and his word; having faith and trust in his promises.

My encouragement to anyone seeking change in their life whether it be a change in your family, finances, job or any other aspect of your life. I encourage you to seek his face and give him the desires of your heart. Those desires while remaining faithful and giving glory to him at all times allows the greatness of your visions to come into fruition.

Happy New Years everyone from my family to yours. I pray a blessed and prosperous year to everyone and pray you all achieve your purposeful fruit!

Good morning ladies and gents! It is wonderful to be apart of a new day of God’s Mercy, Grace and his Divine blessing’s. This morning’s memorandum comes from a place in my heart that I all too well experienced coming from the age of 14; soon to turn 32 in a few weeks and having experienced such feelings here recently even at age 30. This memo came by a few scriptures God has led me to this morning.

Matthew 28:19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” God tells his us to go out and pursue everyone in the name of the Holy Spirit with pure love and wisdom from a pure heart; lest the hardening judgement of our hearts that we as a faith led Christians, Jews, Muslims, or any other religious sect fail at undeniably. We are all standing in the face of God’s grace and mercy day in and out. Where did we drop the ball as a “Religious family”, or should I say appropriately fitting as a “Godly Family”. Essentially it’s not about what religious sect you claim to belong to or worship around but the godly spirit God has bestowed upon you to do his will. His will of walking with him, surrendering to him, obeying him, seeking him, paying attention to him, and listening to him.

As a child I was raised in two different religions; 1)Seventh Day Adventist and 2)Baptist. Pulled to and fro between my grandmother’s views of SDA creed and my mom’s creed of being a Baptist Sunday worshiper (can you feel my discomfort yet?)  Every weekend as a kid was between two churches on Saturday and Sunday. Same worship but different gospels preached. Was I confused? Yep. Was I torn between my understandings? Absolutely! I was ridiculed at a older age of 18 for stepping outside of my SDA sect and pursuing Sunday worship as a freedom of choice, and freedom of God’s spirit.

At that moment my view of God’s instruction changed. I acquired a view that “church people” are only there to judge what you aren’t doing right in God’s word. My question was where are the teachings of showing humility, love, brotherly kindness, and God’s grace to his believers. 2 Peter 1:5-9 reminds us all “For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleaned from his old sins. download-6

Verse 20 also states “knowing this first, that no prophecy of scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. Peter challenges us to add some things to our faith, things that develop godly character.

Matthew’s verse 19 instructs us to go and make disciples not just converts. We want to do more than just see people give their hearts to the Lord. We want to help them mature and grow in him. Aren’t you glad someone helped you? If people are going to be developed, they have to be discipled. What is disciple? A disciple is more than a follower of Christ. A disciple (according to the American Heritage Dictionary) is “one who assists in spreading the teachings of another.” So what’s our job? To assist in spreading the gospel, to be totally devoted to God, and to stick to him like glue. No denomination or religion is greater than he that has died and suffered for our sins and showed us how to be of holiness through love and peace in this condemned world.

images-11          Here recently a few years ago I was tested yet AGAIN in the path of trying to restore and grow my spirituality in Christ with sect views of what God had not spoken to me of becoming. It seemed good at first; but in my gut felt all wrong. I noticed myself pointing fingers, judging and condemning those who were not like myself or what I believed they should be like. Shunning those who didn’t believe in what I believe and God showed to me and said NO….. through his Son of man Jesus Christ we are to by 1 Corinthians 13:13 Abide in Faith, Hope, Love, these three; but the greatest of these is LOVE! It was like a light shined in my darkest thought of what taught and forced religion has molded us to be like towards each other. Sometimes we understand later through trials that at first seemed unfair. Through our own selfish acts we realize that God sits high and looks low and still loves us ALL the same; no one person greater than the next. This brings me to end this with God’s great commission of his Apostles in John 20:19-23. Where God’s disciples were afraid to show their faith in him on the first day of the week (Sunday) for fear of the Jews. Jesus came and gave peace to them in the midst of depravity. Jesus breathed on them to receive the Holy Spirit; for them to forgive the sins of any. Also to know if you retain the sins of any you will always retain them in a negative stature. He wanted us to know that by believing you may have life in his name! Not by our condemned spirits the devil tries to place on our life where newness, growth, and redemption in our Lord and Savior is what we all are striving for. I hope and pray that this memorandum is a blessing to someone who has experienced trials in their walk with God as I have. Have gotten discouraged by others in the faith as I have. That we not allow ourselves to become so void in our sharing the “good news” that we fall prey to the devils scheme of division amongst religions. Believing that if we condemn or persecute those not as like-minded that it will scare them into God’s will. The Lord will always show favor even to his less favorable of sinners. For by the grace and mercy of God we are SAVED! ENJOY YOUR BLESSING’S; AND ENJOY THE VIDEO BELOW.

“A Dawn From On High”

It’s Christmas Eve and right now it’s 5:30 to be exact. (Posted at 12 noon or so……)

I woke up with the mind to write about Jesus this morning and his reason for why we continue to receive God’s grace and mercy in the form of salvation and redemption. This is why we celebrate his birth as Christmas time every year. Having gone through in my life celebrating Christmas with my grandma as a kid with always talking about how good God has been to our family; always giving him glory and honor. Then as a adult I didn’t celebrate it because of how I’ve seen people distort the meaning behind celebrating it even being a pagan holiday. See it’s not the celebrating that’s truly the sin; I believe it is the sin in the materialism of it or the vain idolatry of wanting specific items for Christmas instead of the meaning of love, forgiveness, family, salvation & grace. We all become disobedient from adolescent to adult years.

As that old saying goes a hard head makes a soft you know what….. That meant to me you bump your head in life while growing by being disobedient to your parents, elders or to your true character God has given you to fulfill; but through those times you its allow you to become soft to the truth and/or the right things you should have done in the right manner. You’re expected to mess up because we are born of the flesh but with the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ his birth and atonement was sacrificed for our sins and fleshly desires. Jesus teaches us to be carnal to the flesh and to become anew in his spirit.

1 Timothy 1:15-17 teaches us that here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life. Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

” My dear friends, on Christmas let us seek, in the Babe of Bethlehem, the one who came to us in order to bear with us everything that weighs heavily upon us………… God himself built a bridge from himself to us! A dawn from on high has visited us. At Christmas we embrace the good news that God, in Christ has come to us wherever we are and has bridged the gap between us. He invades our prison of darkness with his light and lifts the load of sorrow, guilt, loneliness that weighs us down. His words remind us of the prophet Isaiah, who prophetically said, ” The people walking in darkness have seen great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned. No matter where today finds us, Jesus has penetrated our dark world with his joy and light! Lord Jesus, we find hope and strength in knowing that your light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

His grace we are living daily all we have to do is keep his word tried and true to the gospels spoken to us. Never forget to keep him at the forefront of what he wants us to strive for; Deliverance! The joy of Christmas is Jesus!

Proverbs 3:6- In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.

Where does your path lead? In 2014 I found myself traveling down a path that I had no idea where it would lead me. Lead into certain dark days I didn’t know if I would ever see light. I consistently prayed and wrote to God images-2the desires of my heart and the will’s of his to be done. We’ve all had those days where we didn’t know where our help would come from or if we would be saved by God in a stressful situation or a time of need. He always reassures that we should look to the hills from which our help comes from. Praying and steadfast in life’s daily toils.

In 2015 I was led into meeting a heralded messenger from God that I am now happy to call my Fiance’. Caught off guard with no expectancy this message from him has been the most comforting one in my life. One that came with a great message of hope, forgiveness, compassion and most importantly LOVE! God allowed to me meet his messenger who took the time to show me God’s important path for my life. A path full of abundance and fruitfulness.

Now just wait one second……. Who says that when God gives you that message that it will be peachy cream?  Nope! It comes with trials and tribulation of faith, strength, courage, guidance and perseverance. Through all those things we find the power to finish walking the path that God has predestined for our life. When you wake up every morning that is a path that God has set in front of you to accomplish with great dignity and self-restraint to continue to walk the path of greatness where he receives all the mighty GLORY!

It’s 2016 and we are still walking this mighty path God set before us; it hasn’t always been easy with trials at hand but that’s what perseverance and enduring is for building up of one’s character. In ending this post I want to share with each one of you about how God places special angels in your life to help you along your great path you call life and that with his Word, Spirit and Promise you shall win all he has in store for you. Whether it be a path through love with a partner, work, children, family be happy and know that he is doing great things in the midst!

My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. – John 15:12-13

What Can I Give Him?

If I were a wise man, I would do my part. Yet what can I give him…… Give him my heart

                                                      “CHRISTIAN FRUIT”

Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits. Psalm 103:2

One of the famous passages in Galatians says we should bear fruit. In fact, there are several places in the Bible where Christians are compared to growing things like grapevines and fruit-bearing trees. Do you think being a Christian is like being a tree? In some ways it is. The purpose of an apple tree is to bear apples. The way you know whether that tree is doing what it is supposed to do is when you pick an apple and take a bite. That’s how we are as Christians.

The test of whether we are growing “spiritually” is the fruit we produce. Galatians 5:22-23 says our fruit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such there is no law. What kind of fruit do people pick off your branches? The spirit of God lives in each believer and is the agent of change. He brings power to our lives that we would otherwise be without. With him in us, we have the ability to change and become more Christ-like.

Verses 22 & 23 list some of the areas the Holy Spirit can change in your life. In which areas could you use some help? Find a specific Scripture and use it to renew your mind. Memorize it; meditate on it; say it in your sleep! Then pray for the Holy Spirit to begin working. The most important part is that you cooperate with the Holy Spirit when he reminds you to be gentle instead of whining. It’s called obedience. Eventually little by little the whining will be replaced and you will have begun to make some changes in your life. My meditation scripture will be listed below on what I plan to meditate on today and I pray God directs each of you to the area in which you want to bear more juicy fruit! Eat it and enjoy it; as his word is food to your mind and soul! We might long to show more of the fruit of the Holy Spirit; The most important gift we can ever receive is God’s gift of his Son, our Savior, and with him forgiveness, restoration, and the promise of spiritual life that begins now and lasts forever. The most important gift we can ever give is to give Jesus our hearts. We all are striving in areas of our lives that test our character daily and the choice to serve God in all we do; giving him all the glory he surely deserves! Gratitude Attitude for the attributes he gives us & describes in Galatians verses 22 & 23. Without them we couldn’t be fervent for GOD!

Meditation Scripture for Self: Self-Control 2 Timothy 1:7

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

Pen 2 Paper- Part 1 “Writings on the Wall”

She wanted to write about something other than love. Yet her freethinking pen seemed more adhered to her heart then to her head. A battle she never felt worth fighting. She needed a clock, a steady clock, a reliable clock, isolated from the progressive beating of her heart. She said the world needs more love…. Her learning to be quiet enough to hear the genuine within herself so that she may hear it in others. Listening is an attitude of the heart, a genuine desire to be with another which both attracts and heals. In life she realized that there is a purpose for every person she meets. Some are there to test, use and teach but the right person brings out the best in her. When she realized it was another love letter from the love in her; love follows her through the love in her Superman!

1 Corinthians 13:4-8

hearts Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

Christian Harmony

What does it mean to have Harmony as a Christian?

To be in a place where internal peace has been reached, true hearts harmony inside deep. Put on a pedestal where wisdom is teached. Head held high, feet planted on the ground, walking a straight line and never looking down. Throughout life’s journey its said that we are carried by God’s tender loving. Taken through life, one foot in front of the other. When its all said and done we bow our head and pray to God be the Glory. True character is in the heart and true wisdom is in the mind. True peace is in the harmony of the struggle God leaves behind. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
God equips us with the essentials we need to be astute in life. We must trust that being compassionate, kind and bearing with one another teaches us how to love each other wholeheartedly as Christ Jesus loves us. Humility allows us to remain humble and not seek after the glorifying of one’s self importance. Meekness and patience through good and bad situations; teaches us patience under long suffering willing to follow gospel teachings. An attribute of a true disciple; without being offended with God’s words.

Colossians 3: 12-13

Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.

For every person who has struggled, questioned, realized, believed, triumphed and accomplished –> TRUST YOUR JOURNEY!

First blog post

Through this blog you will delve inside what God has prompted me to share and the testimonies of how good God continues to be in each of our lives! Take a walk with me on my “Seasoned” Christian journey with God. I chose the name “Seasoned” because we all go through seasons in our life of transition with God. He allows the stages of our life to change before his very eyes daily. In some stages of our Christian journey we all become discouraged, broken and sometimes confused about the calling God has placed on our lives to live right and to share his love.

We sometimes lose focus on what he wants, so I started this blog to connect with other like minded Christians and to be that extra salt to others that God refers to in the bible! Matthew 5:13-16 reads You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

I’m here to do my due diligence and give my salt and light to you all. God is our light!
